Benita is a yoga teacher and a sound gong healer. She offers regular classes at the Boathouse Creative Studios (see timetable below).

The love of flowing, graceful movement of the body and love of music and sounds have always been important part of her life, although only in her adulthood she fully realised the potential of intuitive expression through the sound of healing power of body-mind-spirit connection. She runs Vinyasa Yoga classes – an evolving salute to her ongoing passion to intergrate dynamic flow, conscious breathwork and yogic philosophy. Yoga practice is helping Benita to work with limitations of the body and fluctuations of the mind and sacred sounds are continually helping to find a place of happiness and balance within by harmonising the vibrations of the body, connecting with True Self and reaching a state of relaxation where the natural healing process begins. Her aim is to share the experience with others, to create a space for peace, clarity and connecting with our own potential.

Benita operates in East London offering Vinyasa Yoga classes, 1-2-1 yoga sessions, private or group Gong Baths and singing bowl massage therapy. Please check her website for more details:

Regular Pole Fitness Classes

Weekly on Saturdays 2pm-3pm

We are delighted to announce the start of a regular  Pole Fitness class with Tia Lindo at the Boathouse.

Tia is an all-round creative. From the age of ten she joined a performing arts school and the arts have been a great part of her life ever since. Over the years she has focused on acting and film making.

After battling with her weight for a few years a friend suggested that she should try pole dancing. She had tried various diets and fitness regimes and thought why not give this a go?

Tia was reluctant at first as she felt a lot bigger than the other women in the class and had little upper body strength.However she quickly started to love Pole and it’s been a life changing addition to her life and well-being over the past 5 years.

Pole is a full body workout, offering cardio and body weight training which allows you to burn fat and tone at the same time. Classes focus on strength and flexibility which steadily improve within classes; so it’s easy to monitor your progress. Pole Dancing  allows you to feel sexy and confident and for some is also a powerful therapy.

Any class booked before the 27th January 2019 will be at an introductory fee of: £10

£15.00 per class
